Greg Wyman’s bio


Utilizing twenty plus years of marketing experience, Greg Wyman, initiated the B. Smith with Style retail brand. As Executive Vice President of Marketing at L. Kee and Company in San Francisco, he signed the celebrity with the firm. He then secured market research focused on B. Smith’s retail potential, provided sourcing and design in order for the brand to be successfully placed in the home textiles industry, and facilitated a relationship between B. Smith and Bed Bath & Beyond to market products under the license, “B. Smith with Style”.

In 2001, Wyman joined B. Smith Enterprises as the VP of Licensing. Wyman signed multiple licensees to produce home products for the B. Smith with Style brand including bedding, bath, serveware, etc. The brand has grown into a multi-million retail dollar business. Wyman manages the relationship between Bed Bath and Beyond and B. Smith with Style, which has now become one of the premier home decor brands names.

Recently, Wyman signed Hammary Furniture a division of La Z Boy Incorporated, to become the B. Smith casegoods furniture licensee, as well as Miles Talbott for upholstered furniture thus launching B. Smith into the Home Furniture industry. In addition to the furniture licensee the B. Smith Home brand consists of such well-known industry names as Surya for rugs, Roma Home Decor for mirrors and Picture Source for wall art.

Along with seeing his vision of a B. Smith brand coming to fruition, Wyman’s career has included many other milestones which include: successfully defending B. Smith’s copy rights which resulted in a substantial monetary settlement; during his tenure at L Kee and Company (1991-2001) Wyman developed multi-million dollar private brands for (Vintage Home at Walmart, Heirloom Lace at Target, New Traditions at Sears, Victorian Accents at Mervyns).

Prior to 1991, Wyman held sales positions with The Quaker Lace Company and Linens by Vera working primarily with Department and Specialty stores across the country (1980-1991).

Greg received his BBA in marketing from The University of Georgia in 1979 and is an active member of the American Marketing Association. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Waldorf School of Atlanta, where he oversees the school’s marketing/brand direction, as well as the Academe of the Oaks High School. Greg is married to Dr. Tara Wyman who holds a Ph.D. from UCLA in Organic Chemistry. Dr. Wyman, who taught college chemistry before the birth of their twin sons, now teaches science and physics at the Academe of the Oaks High School. Greg’s interests include hiking, American History and performing music. Greg has been a guitarist for 40 years.
